While mostly unknown in nature to the common townsperson. The ones who study plants know that the only way to get this sickness is though ingestion of the powdered down rot of the flower/herb Dandy Twin, a close resembling flower to the common dandelion. Only through a concentrated amount the herb is causing this sickness.

Causes

Many charlatans use the herb called Dandy Twin in their concoctions. This seemingly harmless flower's rot is milled down into small powder until it is mixed with whatever the charlatan provides. Many of them use this herb due to that it masks the bitter taste with a honey-sweet one.

Symptoms

Common symptoms from Dandelion Sickness are the permanent honey taste that is left in the affected's mouth that lasts for weeks. This affects close to all food intake. It has also been noted that bitter aftertaste can be produced by this sickness. Dryness in the mouth is too a commonly occurring phenomenon. Some cases have been heard of complete loss in the sense of taste and also affected smell, but since it is related to charlatan medicine, no one can be sure if the Dandy Twin is the cause or just attributed.

Treatment

The sickness can't be helpt, there are common home remedies, like smoking leaves of a tall Barkdwarf Tree and soup of different kinds, but no one have come up with a good solution.

Prognosis

Early stages are the first losses of taste until it goes over to the complete sweetness or even complete loss of taste in the some-cases category. Afterwards, there is a period of a week at least until the symptoms die down slowly or most hastily depending on the person. There are no harmful effects.

Prevention

The only prevention is to visit legitimate physicians in a town or city or those who are known for not using the herb that causes the condition in the first place. Like with treatments, there are home remedies to counteract the sickness none of whom is known to have an effect.
