Behemons

Behemons stand far taller than the other races with heights ranging between seven to even ten feet tall. They are the strongest race Nikrea has to offer, not just in physical strength but also in natural healing ability. For example, if an unsuspecting behemon's arm was cut off, it will take a day to grow back after an extensive ordeal of screaming and cursing - so long as the poor victim is able to eat enough grub. Similarly, a behemon can even survive having their tether burst, which is a cornerstone of the Drukh Theocracy and Leviam.   Many of the tetherless behemons portray aspects of their Fundamental physically: A once Flare tethered behemon may have an ever-immolating beard, an Ocean behemon may have one arm as a tentacle, and a Sky behemon may have gusts of wind swirling around them at all times. They love having self-contained might.

Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction

Like the other races behemons reproduce sexually. Unlike other humanoids, it takes up to five years for a baby to develop fully in its mother's womb.

Growth Rate & Stages

Behemons grow extremely quickly, and it is a joked that their age matches their height in feet, since by the age of ten they are generally fully grown. It is once they are fully grown that they manifest their remarkable healing without jeopardising their development.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Behemons require less food than humans, goblins, or elves under normal circumstances. It is only when they are in the process of growing or healing that they can eat massive quantities, however this proves difficult for Behemon families raising children.
