Baymore, Oceanfront, and the Kingdom of Astria are the nations home to the most perplexing species on the continent, humans. These animals are known to be far ahead of the other races in terms of technology and discovery, and yet are so far behind with acumen and wisdom. It's possible for a tyrant to pop in any nation, but in a human infested states such bastards are a regular occurrence propped up by the masses that will guzzle down whatever fabricated stories they are told. It's speculated that perhaps the unbridled corruption ever-present in humanity stems back to their very nature of being the race birthed from Psyche - the Fundamental most incompatible with morals and faith. There are beauties in Psyche that even Sprites can admire, such as intelligence which can help to fathom the fascinating nature of the world while also aiding the advances of new technology. However, the abilities humans can gain from Psyche crush liberty into paste. Emotion reading, moral gauging, thought touching; all examples of the depraved tools past dictators, even those who have honestly meant to do good, have used to maintain power.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Humans are present in the South of Desmunda and for the most part stay contained there due to the prejudice the rest of the world shows them. Although, wandering humans masked as other races are not unheard of.

Sages in the human kingdoms may be some of the most intelligent beings on the continent, but the average human's intellect (especially one that lacks a Psyche tether) is nothing special compared to any other race.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The other races view humanity with angst and suspicion as if they are reprobate and impossible to predict. Behemons may be treated with more apprehension from their herculean size and often averse beliefs, but humans carry with them the unease of Psyche tethers and having one's very own mind groped by the brush of another.
