A little about the Kummer Wolfe List

Hey, Everybody!
So, as you've figured out, this is the library of all my travels across WorldAnvil. What I call the 'Anvilspace'. Not everything is here. I've a few of the early notes that just didn't survive the test of time. Sorry about that. But I've gotten better at keeping up with my journals and travels. So, hey, feel free to browse, pick one or two off the shelf and take a look!

I can't promise they'll all be in good condition. One thing I've learned in my travels across the Anvilspace, is that it's always in motion. Always changing. I try to keep my notes up to date, but as the saying goes... that is very much like trying to step into the same water twice in a river!

But I give it a try anyway every so often. Who knows, it might work one day!

Origin of the List

For the curious, I thought I'd scribble down a bit where this even came from. As origins go, it's pretty simple. No flash of inspiration here. Not a single, sudden, 'Hey, you know what...'? Nope, not at all. The origin of the Kummer Wolfe List comes from one time and one person.

It's completely the Forgemaster's fault during one past WorldEmber.

You see, one not-so-snowy WorldEmber, all of us were hammering away at our worldbuilding, when the Forgemaster looked out and said, "hey, go take a look around at each other's worlds. If you see something interesting this WorldEmber, share it! Let us all know!" So we did. But it got me thinking...

What was out there across the Anvilspace?

I mean, not every Anvilite is on Discord. Some stay in the notification feeds and that's it. Others? Well, they stay hidden in their corner of World Anvil and quietly work away. Their fantastic, mind blowing worldbulding, never being seen. Then there are manuscripts! Oh, they are almost their own worlds in a way.

So, being a bit of an explorer myself, I set off looking for what was out there. The 'undiscovered country' in a way. Then, when that WorldEmber came to a close, as they all do, I just kept exploring. I wasn't as regular back then when I started. There were some weeks where my notes lay waiting to be tossed up for people to see.

Also, I had no idea who was actually reading any of these. But I put them up all the same. Why? Well, I understood what the Forgemaster was saying. At least I thought I did.

It's about hope. Hope and inspiration.

So, I will never know who reads the bits and bobs of my travels across World Anvil. But if it helps even one person, gives them hope and inspiration to make something so great it lights the world, then ok. It was worth the effort.

But, like I always write... enough of that. So, without further delay! I've my own worldbuilding to do, and my own reading to catch up on!

I'll see you in the 'Anvilspace'. May the Forge be with you!
Grab your hammer! And go worldbuild!
