Sehanine Moonbow, Elven Lady of Dreams
Sehanine Moonbow is the goddess of dreams and love, as well as the second most powerful member of the elven pantheon after Corellon Larethian, Elven God of Magic. She is extremely protective of elven peoples, particularly the moon elves that she originally created, and will send omens and illusions to protect them. She rarely speaks directly to her followers when communing with them and instead uses visions and dreams to speak to them, though she has been known to speak directly in dire situations.
Her protection does not extend to the drow, for Sehanine and Lolth, the Spider Queen, are old enemies who despise each other intensely. Sehanine is opposed to the Dark Seldarine as a whole but loathes Lolth most of all for the Spider Queen's attempted murder of Corellon. Along with her former romantic rival, Sehanine also hates undead intensely and commands her followers to destroy undead and any who practice the art of necromancy.
While Sehanine's power has always been connected with the moon, her power at its peak while the moon is full and vice versa, she has recently become the goddess of the moon on Nexus due to the mysterious disappearance of Selûne, the Moon Goddess. As the next most powerful deity active on Nexus with the moon in their divine portfolio, Sehanine began standing in for Selûne approximately 20 years after the Morlocks attack on the Kingdom of Lothal (10 years before the events that began in Haven City).
