Altmera

Altmera is an extraordinarily powerful archdruid and the current holder of the Pink Quintus Gem, a role she has held for the past 7,000 years. A leader in Jezero's elven community, she has spent millennia protecting the elves from outside forces that wish to do them harm. While she bares some small semblance of respect for Quintus Gemholders, her faith in other non-elves is virtually non-existent.

Quest for the Quintus Gems Campaign

When a fairy tried and failed to trick the Barrel Boys into rescuing Lurue, the Unicorn Queen, from her imprisonment by Dunames, the fairy went to Altmera for help instead. The subsequent jailbreak destroyed the prison and much of the nearby village as Altmera showed little regard for collateral damage.
She did not meet the Barrel Boys in person until they came looking for the Pink Quintus Gem as an orc army spurred forward by Cedra marched on elven territory for the same reason. Altmera showed little interest in working with the Barrel Boys, viewing them as pale imitations of previous gemholders she had fought alongside in the past. Despite this, she was forced to acknowledge that their gems had chosen them and decided to provide them with some assistance. Channeling the power of the Pink Quintus Gem, Altmera showed the Barrel Boys a vision of Moloch's attempt to claim the gems millennia beforehand as she and the other original gemholders stopped him.
Altmera very bluntly told the adventurers that she had no intention to giving her gem to them, but would assist them if they participated in the battle against the orc horde. She first sent them out to find a missing scout, though the Barrel Boys failed to return before the orc horde and elven army met on the front lines. She was rather surprised when the Barrel Boys returned with the Red Banner as reinforcements, hitting the orcs from the rear after dropping a powerful superweapon on them. Despite these achievements, Cedra still had one more card to play to assist her orc allies: the ancient red dragon Yoltoorshul. Channeling the full force of her magic through the Pink Quintus Gem, Altmera transformed Myster E, Yandhi, and her fairy servant into young dragons to battle Yoltoorshul while Marshall called upon the power of his god Stronmaus to become a storm giant.
Altmera kept an eye on the battle above while she rallied her kinsmen and pushed back the orc horde, leaving the battle against the orc leader Thogmau Goresteel to the Barrel Boys while she used her power over nature to clear out great swathes of orc troops. The battle over, the Barrel Boys could see that the Pink Quintus Gem was safe in Altmera's hands. She promised to come to the aid of the adventurers should they ever need her, giving a respectful nod to the men she'd apparently misjudged upon first meeting them. Altmera fulfilled her promise during the Battle of Lakeview, arriving with an army of elves and fey that once against fought alongside the Red Banner as they cleared the city of fiends that sought to prey upon defenseless mortal souls.
