To Russia With Vengeance: Part 2 Finale
General Summary
After regaining their bearings in the PRIMUS Doomsday safehouse in France, the unlikely team of Liliana, Sandcrab, Lil’Rocket, and Lyzen made their way to the countryside outside of St. Petersburg Russia.
As they approached the scene, Russian military forces were closing in on a city block…heavily armed with tanks, attack helicopters, and ground forces.
Sandcrab’s spatial awareness indicated that there was an facility beneath the houses on that block, so he tunneled underground to investigate.
Meanwhile, Liliana made an attempt at ‘foreign relations’ by screaming at the Russian soldiers in the attack helicopters. When they were undeterred by her logic, she unleashed the spirits on them…causing their aircraft to careen off course.
On the ground, Lil’Rocket went toe-to-miniature-toe with the tanks. After he was blasted backward by mortar shells and machine gun fire, he successfully attempted to pass through the tank’s armor…surprising the soldiers inside with electrical blasts to the face.
Soon after discovering the underground facility, Sandcrab located the secret entrance, bypassed their security systems, and surprised forty or so Resistance fighters, huddled in the underground bunker. After re-assuring them that the team would attempt their rescue, he returned to the surface…leaping onto the second attack helicopter, forcing it crashing to the ground.
Riding it to the ground, he noticed a tank targeting him. Unafraid, he ran toward it, lifted it over his head, and tossed it across the street onto another tank…having a newfound appreciation for ‘heavy metal.’
Unseen in the distance, Lyzen (formerly known as Fazer) used the Oqthcalian Abril form to unleash the “Power of Knowledge” on the Russian soldiers inside the tanks, controlling their minds with the instruction “stand down.”
However, it was brute force, Liliana’s spirits, and Lil’Rocket’s persistence that saved the day.
Liliana was able to prevent her father from being captured by the Russian forces under Dr. Destroyer’s control. But for how long?
