Session 30 - Betrayal
General Summary
The party was faced with a difficult problem: freeing Sasha's brother, Osho. Sasha spoke with Osho, learning of his newfound devotion to the Liberty Castle.
Finn had a pleasant conversation with Johnson, who offered asylum in the Stable, if needed. And Hamilton was confronted by Roxie again, where she offered her help in freeing Osho. Her plan was simple: She makes a distraction, while the others slip through the sewers and free Osho. All Roxie wanted in return was a little, red booklet.
Later that night, the party was awoken by Eleanor's scream. Inside her bedroom, the glowing blue-eyed man was there. The party immediately attacked him, but it quickly became apparent he was not a threat. In fact, he wanted to help. He introduced himself, and showed his face. His name is Gael, and he works for The Order. He offered a way to switch out Osho with an identical copy, who was actually an associate of his who wishes to die. All the party would have to do is make a distraction.
After a long debate, the party agreed to go with Gael's plan. Hamilton met with Roxie and explained he isn't going with her plan, and she seemed pretty okay with it. The party went out to the woods, where Gael created an illusion of a troll for them to "fight", while he planted the fake Osho.
After a hilariously awful performance, the entire Remington guard charges out and after the troll. After the dust settles, Gael returns with an unconscious Osho. He asks the party to help push away bad rumors about the Order, then leaves. Osho awakens, and says that because of his oath to the Liberty Knights, he must go back to them. The group tries to stop him, but he gets away. Now, they've got their eyes set on Liberty Castle as their next destination…
