Session 23 - Giovanni

General Summary

Hamilton heard the voice of Abigail in his unconscious state, before Alice fed him some Bounce to revive him. Conscious for now, the party hurried ahead to locate their carriage!

Down the hall, they found both their carriage and Rowan's parked in a small stable. Alice took the carriage back down the hall, while the rest of the party (and Rowan) went deeper in to confront the bandit leader Giovanni.

They found Giovanni in his own private chamber, where he showed a deep insecurity for being seen as the lapdog of Roxie. He thanked Rowan for alerting him to the party's presence, before sealing the room's exit. He explained that he dumped gallons of mead into the volcanic pits under the cave, and it would blow any minute. He finally drew his sword and attacked!

The party made quick work of Giovanni, and as he died he shouted, "How'd I do, Roxie?!" With him out of the way, everyone scrambled to find an alternative exit. After some searching, they found a narrow crawl space that led back out to the entrance, just in time as the cave exploded and collapsed in on itself.

Rowan thanked the party for their help and headed off. With the carriage back in their possession, the party gathered within and traveled to the nearest settlement to rest: Central City.

Once they arrived at Central, the party got a few rooms at the Old Axe Inn, and began enjoying the settlement in groups. Sasha and Eleanor rested in the inn, Alice took Finn to a mysterious tent, and Hamilton was notified by a strange note to meet out in the woods, to which he complied...
