Session 22 - No Carriage Like Home
General Summary
The party's carriage was stolen! Eleanor stressed how important the carriage was to her, and everyone quickly started searching for clues.
Sasha discovered wheel tracks leading away from the site. The group followed the tracks to a cave opening, where two thugs sat outside it with two vicious-looking dogs. Expertly, the party took out both thugs without alerting anyone.
Inside the cave, the group saw more volcanic pits within. They watched as thugs through Zso Dust into the pits to prevent them from steaming. In the room to their right, they saw many cages. Inside one of them was none other than Rowan the Entertainer! He begged them to let him out, and explained that he was just minding his own business when his horse was killed and his carriage stolen, with him in it. The party stole the key to the cells off of a large, terrifying dog sleeping nearby and let Rowan out. Now free, he joined the party, refusing to leave without his carriage.
Down the hallway, the party accidentally tripped a trap, sending a liquid into nearby volcanic pits and sending steam shooting out of them. This was enough to alert some thugs up ahead, who attacked the party! It was a bloody battle, and when Hamilton was knocked into unconsciousness, things didn't look good for our Misfits...
