Session 16 - Job Well Done
General Summary
Our Misfits were escorted up to a private balcony, where they could eat a full buffet and enjoy the night sky. After a bit, Elysia and Oscar emerged onto the balcony. Elysia began a very formal "thank you", but Oscar quickly snapped cut her off. She sent the waiters away so she could speak with the party in private, so she could let down her act.
Elysia genuinely thanked the party for their help, not only with Oscar, but with the troll, too. She admitted that there is no gift great enough for all that effort, so she simply offered a single request from Sasha, Hamilton, and Skinny and she would do her best to fulfill it.
Sasha asked that Remington begin searching for her family members. Elysia assured her she would begin informing her guard to look out for anyone similar to Sasha's appearance or going by the name Densharr.
Skinny asked for all the Servos in the Kingdom to be treated fairly, but Elysia unfortunately had to deny this request. She reasoned that such a massive change to the status quo could be detrimental to the entire Kingdom. The group was then offered a night's stay in the castle to sleep off their wounds. They all got separate rooms, and had a nice, comfortable rest.
The next morning, the party saw the aftermath of the troll attack. The area was entirely blocked off. Buildings were toppled, blood stained the streets, and there was a lingering sense of dread still in the air. VendTech was selling building materials on sale in response.
The group agreed their next stop would be Riverbend to look into the wanted poster for Hamilton, which said to bring him to the settlement. As they prepared to leave, though, Cookie said she didn't want to leave. She admitted she wanted to do her part and help in her own way, and she could do that by staying in Remington and making people happy. With a heartfelt goodbye, Cookie stayed in the Kingdom while everyone else left for Riverbend.
The trek was largely uneventful, but as they grew closer to the settlement, the party decided it would be best to disguise Hamilton in Skinny's cloak. As they all entered, Sasha quickly recognized a few thugs. They happened to be the very same thugs that picked a fight with Sasha when she arrived in Riverbend with Eleanor! Needless to say, things were about to get violent...
