The Seventy-Thousand Planes
The realm of Elasarius is known as the Seventy Thousand Planes. Rather than lording over a single realm like most gods, Elasarius' realm contains tens of thousands of pocket dimensions, each dedicated to a field of research that interests Elasarius. There is a realm for almost every avenue of inquiry here, from the alchemical effects of subterranean fungi to the potential of combining spells from different magical traditions. This is not to say Elasarius is mad in their thirst for knowledge. Rather, they follow a code of ethics that involves willing participants and not causing harm unnecessarily in their experiments. This has been passed down to mages and other practitioners of the arcane arts as the ethical use of magecraft, prevalent throughout magical institutions around the continent of Sol. Mages who bypass these guidelines, such as dark mages and most necromancers, are considered outside the realm of Elasarius' support.
