Candy Cabs are a service provided by Candy Slingers, that include a short ride and the opportunity to buy drugs, colloquially called candy in the scene, which is the main purpouse of a Candy Cab.
How does a Candy Cab work?
Usually customers call a Candy Slinger that operates a Candy Cab and agree on a location where the customer get's picked up by the Candy Cab. Durring the ride the transaction is discussed such as desired drugs, ammount and price is disscussed, the deal is conducted and the customer gets dropped off at his desired location.

Unless customers are member of a rival criminal organisation and don't antagonize the Candy Slinger, is buying candy from a candy cab a relative safe way of obtaining illegal substances. However obviously wasting time and beeing obnoxious is an easy way to get oneself into trouble. Most Candy Cab drivers are armed, often have an armed buddy in the back seat and are affiliated with organized crime.

A Candy Cab is a lucrative target to rob as it carries a sizeable quantity of valueable, if illegal, assets and likely also has a lot of credits on board due to prior deals. Even if two armed Candy Slingers are preresent, they can still be easily overwhelmed the s it is not to difficult to direct the driver into an ambush. On top of that robbing a candy cab has the advantage that nobody is going to call the authorites to protect or retrive thier illegal goods.
