As the only successfully terraformed planet in the system, Taad Becor is different from all of the other planets in Leporis. While every other planet is essentially rife with extremes (Desnand with heat and lumber, Natchi Krilli with mountains and rivers, and Tralfa Prime for ice), Taad Becor has very little in the way of extremes. Originally a barren, rocky planet, terraforming transformed it into a planet of rolling hills and expansive plains, making it stand out from the other planets it shares the system with. However, it was quickly realized that the results of the terraforming had made it prime real estate for the cultivation of livestock and those with both abundant stock or looking to start herds started moving to the planet.
Since Leporis has very little in the way naturally of livestock species, most of the stock on Taad Becor has been transported in from other system. Much of the cattle stock can be traced back to the Old Terran bloodlines that came over with the original settlers of the Orionis Cluster. There are also native animals from many other places in the cluster that have been imported to the planet by farmers seeking to build their business.

Geography

Taad Becor is made up of rolling hills and expansive plains, making it relatively tame in appearance. Except for the main spaceport in the capital city of Novas, the plains on the planet are all specifically set aside as fields for livestock. As such, cities and towns on the planet are often set up above the fields amongst the rolling hills, often giving them very interesting twists and turns.

Climate

Thanks to terraforming, Taad Becor has probably the most mild climate out of any of the planets in the Leporis system. It rarely reaches extremes of either temperature - there have only been five record high or lows since the planet was settled - which helps in the care and tending of the livestock that make up the lifeblood of the planet.

Flora & Fauna

Given that it was terraformed, most of the flora of Taad Becor resembles Old Terran stock as seeds from the remaining stocks brought from Terra were used in the process. However, there is the presence of some other plant life from in the Leporis system - mostly transplants from Natchi Krilli as the climate is too mild for the Desnand flora - as well as a few native transplants from what is now Daant Arga. Most of the flora is smaller shrubbery and flowering plants but there are a few trees that grow on the planet.
For fauna, the majority of the animal life on the planet is livestock. These stock tend to come from both Old Terran sources and from across the galaxy, transported to the planet to take advantage of the ample fields. While livestock makes up the majority, there is also insect-life present on the planet in order to help with the flowering flora as well as an avian population for the same purposes. There are also personal animals such as canines and felines, though most canines on the planet are trained to herd livestock.

Tourism

Although it has a very large spaceport in Novas, the planet has very little in the way of tourism. Most of the traffic is focused off planet, transports of livestock or butchered meat and other items leaving to go to other parts of the galaxy at almost every hour of the day. While the occassional tourist does arive, they usually don't stay long as there isn't much to see on the planet.
