What came out of the terraforming process was a perfectly normal planet, though it did come with quite a lot of natural plains areas when settlers arrived. This quickly lead to the estabishment of large livestock farms to take advantage of the open fields. It quickly became a joke in Underhill, the original settlement that eventually became the city Novas, that Taad had more cattle than people.
