Hunter Elves

A smaller ethnicity within the greater Elves of the Forest (see Forest Elves).
Mostly centered around the village of Lohr'an and smaller communities like Elanil.
Like most Forest Elves, Hunter Elf culture celebrates life. Hunter Elves are special in that they also celebrate death, seeing the whole thing as a cycle. Animal-based foods aren't eaten often, in line with other Forest Elf diets in the area, but are not farmed. Instead, a ritual hunt is commenced and the animal is thanked for its sacrifice.
Geographically located in the eastern portion of the Southern Forests, they're between the larger Forest Elf settlements in and around Nah'shil to the west and the Mountain Elves to the east. Being a smaller group of elves between two larger and more powerful groups hasn't always been comfortable.
