Eclipse
Eclipse, formerly known as the Avengers of Vernoff, are an adventuring group established in Rivershore by the order of Duke Malerius Hamonnet, with the primary goal of taking back Vernoff and destroying the Gnolls occupying it, and their leader, Therrg Blackfur.
For the battles themselves, it is known that Eclipse single-handedly shattered the gnolls of the Laughing Forest and their remnants were swept away by the advancing army. They led the vanguard in the Battle for Vernoff, where they helped capture the walls of the city, so that no gnoll would escape. In that battle they also defeated the leader of the gnolls, Therrg Blackfur was laid low from a dagger that severed his spine delivered by Fen. Round's on me lads, the heroes of Vernoff should not have to pay for their drinks in my tavern!To accomplish this goal they did many quests for the Empire, including destroying Kobold dens outside Lyenne, and investigating leads and secret missions given to them by the rulers of the duchy. Rumor has it, that in their missions they also travelled the planes, and made their way in places of vile darnkess, however few believe such hearsay. Leader:
Ezra Elde, the eldest son of Fergus and Galkilia Elde, the family that were Barons of Rosiot before the town was razed by Gnolls. The family is now Lords of Vernoff. Ezra has shown the ability to heal and use divine magics, but has no known affiliations with any gods, which is odd.Members:
Deawynn Springcloud, a Firbolg ranger and druid, known for her devotion to Vitaria. She is often seen at the temple of Vitaria in Rivershore, healing the sick and injured with Priestess Osanna.Ancalagon, the Githyanki mage of unknown origins. Not much is known about him, as he is quite closed to himself.
Vee, the newest member of the group, not much is known about her.

Fen, a rogue with a shrouded past, she is a master of stealth and assassination, and has earned a fierce reputation for herself through her work in the underworld squabbles of Rivershore. She left the group to pursue her own goals, and establish herself in a recently opened power vacuum in the Rivershore underworld.
