Athame
Athame is the name of both a plane and the citadel that resides on the plane. It exists in the Celestial Wastes, and guards the site where Tazan, The Ravenous One was defeated. It is manned by numerous angels who guard it and the Wastes.
The citadel is heavily warded with magic that interferes with planar teleportation into and out of the plane, as a trap for wayward fiends who seek to travel along the Vein from the negative sphere.
Demographics
Athame is almost exclusively populated by angels , and few visitors are permitted. Gods and other powerful beings are known to travel to the citadel in order to establish good relations with the angels there, or even to bring new potential soldiers for their war.
Government
Athame is ruled by Suriel's followers, though they have acted independently from the goddess since she pledged to defend the sun Bael. The defacto ruler of the citadel is the angel Voleil, who served as one of the Matron of Battle's most trusted generals during the war against Tazan.
