History

Kaiya was born to a moon elf named Naerdiel Lómëithil in the year of 2849, in the capital of Eärenmorthross. Naerdiel was daughter to Queen Turwaithiel Lómëithil of the moon elves. Naerdiel had fallen in love with a noble sun elf; though she would not say who, her mother knew it was the sun elf prince, Calcyllion Anorrhuin. The prince refused to acknowledge Naerdiel any longer. He had matters of his own household to attend to and the heat of the war was upon him. Heartbroken by his lack of affection to his child, Naerdiel left the palace and sought refuge with her best friend, Ithilwen Nailo. The queen disapproved of her actions, but she helped with the child none the less, for she was an heiress to the throne. After Naerdiel’s happiness had begun to fade, she gave up completely. As Naerdiel lie there, life fading from her eyes, having sworn allegiance to the crown, Ithilwen promised to keep the baby safe. A decade had passed and Ithilwen could no longer care for the child and had taken her to Tiatha Lírëvafion.
Shal’Heira never met her maternal family.
