Cadwells

Headed by Lucius Cadwell, the Cadwell family currently consists only of two legitimate living members: the patriarch himself and his only surviving daughter, Adora Cadwell. Adora has an illegitmate son Nathaniel Cadwell, who is romantically involved with Ethel Parsons with twin daughters due before the end of the month. The Cadwell family are distant cousins of the Bray family , and also of Teddy Warjaw. Their most notable relation is Barnabas Bray, the reclusive head of the Sootbury Police.

History

The Cadwells are the family chosen by Willis Wonderful to serve as his first Quarter-Hours. The position was initially held by Bently Cadwell, then passed to his son Francis Cadwell. From there the line descended to current-day Lucius Cadwell and his daughter Adora Cadwell. Before the founding of the Council of the Clock, the Cadwells were a royal line in Ile, ruling over a small area in northern Ile, and maintaining their kingdom on the Islands until the Clock eventually enveloped them as well.
