CEMS

Cold Electromagnetic Shields (CEMS) is more advanced technology from the Electromagnetic Shields (EMS). CEMS technology is based on using super conductor materials cooled close to absolute zero, in order to create much more powerful electromagnetic shields. This of course did make system much more energy demanding, and normal OFRE class engines could barely handle it. In order to get full potential out of this kind of shields, new type of engine was needed. This lead to UEF and FRE administration speeding the development for the new engine.
This new engine would be come to known as Hydrogen-Boron Fusion Reactor Engine or with shorter name HBFRE
