Stagnant Bayou
Towards the central section of the Badlands lies this backward, creepy muck-filled land. It is home to horrors most never speak of, let alone want to meet in person. Strange swamp abominations and twisted druids are just a few of the many denizens that call this strange place home. The trees in this swamp seem to loom towards passersby just a little more than normal, the bogs suck them down a bit more than most, and the shadows much larger than they should be. Danger in this locale is a tangible feeling, like one could almost reach out and touch it...although if one did, there's a chance of losing a finger in the process.
