Elynadrin
Established before humankind entered their iron age, this city was a monument to the first time elves and humans came together to live in harmony. Elynadrin established by elves moving west, in order to become more involved with the rest of the civilized world and settlers from the Masaran continent fleeing religious persecution from the Nimarun Dynasty.
This city was the first casualty of a war between the Empire of Tor and the elves of the Wildlands, being nearly raised to the ground in the year 447 SR (11600 DR), during the Toran invasion of the Wildlands. After it was rebuilt in 480 SR (11633 DR), it stood as a reminder that even the Wildlands must adapt and engage in diplomacy, or war may return to their peaceful forests and serene plains. The only elven port city of any significance, Elynadrin sits as a top destination of many merchants and wanderers. It is the only elven city that allows structures not of elven design.
