Nimarun Dynasty
Occupying a majority of the islands, this nation holds an iron grasp over the entire archipelago. The nation is controlled by an Emperor, The Divine Vei'par, who controls by both birthright and by power. There is no empress, the rulers (always male) are carefully matched with a woman that will "keep the bloodline pure", as the council has claimed for as far back as records show. It is a place steeped in tradition, mysticism and superstition. The Orient has long both confounded and mesmerized outsiders, with it's bazaars and immense spirituality. While the number of laws is kept low and simple, violators of the law are dealt with in brutal fashion. Steal something? Lose that hand. Take a life? Forfeit yours. The Nimarun navy dwarfs any other nation's by immeasurable lengths, and their skill at handling their seafaring vessels makes even the most skillful sailors from other nations appear as children unfamiliar with the sea.
Nimarun follows the basics of society, as they deem it: Strength, Honor and Unity.
THE SLAVE TRADE: All throughout the Masara Archipelago, the sale and ownership of slaves is legal and a very profitable business. See Masara Archipelago for more information about the largest area where slavery is legal.
Strength, Honor and Unity.
