Dusky River
The Dusky River separates the Western Eaves of Mirkwood from the HEART OF MIRKWOOD. Its heavily silted waters are still drinkable. Springing from the HAUNTED HILLS, it flows West then South until it empties into the Lake known as THE BLACK TARN.
Geography
The river exits the MIRKWOOD HILLS heading west, but soon turns South. After the hills the river is a slow moving stream. It is flowing about 3 days journey from the western edge of Mirkwood. This river has such a slight incline on its path that at times it may have no flow to it.
Ecosystem
The river is believed to have fish and other life in it, but they and the water itself are thought to be harmful.
Fauna & Flora
The BOG WEED is known as a plant that can counteract many types of poison.
