Common Dress code

These folks are most well known for their crazy dye patterns, used almost exclusively for personal wear. 'Alashaia and other plants have long been pressed and used for pigments, and Stenza in this group often weave pieces of fabric with a dye pattern in mind.
Because most Stenza can only see hues of blue and yellow, many of the nuances of the patterns are lost on most people, allowing these fabrics to serve as a form of self-identification and identification of others (by in-group members and others, including members of other species, who have sometimes described the garments as "loud" or "gaudy").
