Miss Giropel Rhymerel, SA (a.k.a. Gigi)
A slightly jumpy lady with a bookish look and long dark curls. She is a middle-aged human and amicable most of the time. She has always lacked money, having come from a family of little means but lately her mother had died leaving her to pay back bills that she was working overtime to try and pay. At first she had sufficed to work overtime but something happened and, despite Atir offering her an interest free loan, she had started going to Craps to increase her income.

Personal history
Giropel, herself, has always been very responsible with her money. She lives simply and only splurges on material to build her contraptions. Her childhood was mostly spent being too dirt poor to even afford a proper meal. Her mother was very heavy into gambling and took what little she made to the parlours and casinos of Omarop. Giropel and her young brother, Kitro, suffered. As they grew up, Kitro stole and did bad people favours to afford a roof over their heads, meanwhile Giropel set to legitimate work. Kitro eventually found trouble on the wrong end of a blade and Giropel had to scrounge nearly everything that she had to bury him. She was lucky enough to gain residence at the Spokane Archives by that point. Sadly, her mother continued to gamble. If anything there was more fervour and risks taken. By the time Giropel's mother died she was thousands of GP in debt with a climbing interest.

Though naturally gifted in math, Giropel has learned much through her studying and tutelage at the Spokane Archives.
Employment
Giropel works as a full time scholar at the archives but does do once yearly bookkeeping reviews for Jon's Butcher shop, Kella's flowers, and a few other little shops in Gorouti disrtrict.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Creating a version of the alchemical jug that pours holy water instead of acid and weighs only 6 pounds but puts out the same content. It is hard to make otherwise she would not be having the money troubles that she has right now.
Failures & Embarrassments
Not finding a way to truly escape the sins of her mother.
Mental Trauma
Giropel would have typically thought that her time growing up had made her stronger but it has also made her hypervigilant and weary of risks. Until she became desperate, Giropel would not have even bet 5 CP that it would rain in two days.

A quick study, Giropel has always taken quickly to book knowledge though at times her practical application can be lacking.

Wants to believe that people are altruitic as that as how she sees herself. Life has shown her that, at the very least, altruism might be more of a choice.
