The Treaty of Themeson

Terms and conditions of the agreement to return the Castle of Themeson back to the Thardic Republic.

Treaty Specifics
The Kingdom of Rethem will renounce any claim to Themesom Castle and its estates east of the River Gominisen. The land and assets will be transferred to the Thardic Republic.
All free persons residing in the Themeson Domain at that date will be granted citizenship of the Republic with all rights and privileges.
The Cohorts of Gashang and are to vacate the Castle Themeson by the 30 Nuzyael 721. They will cooperate with the Gerium Legion to ensure a smooth transfer of power.
The Cohorts of Gashang and the Order of the Eight Demons will temporarily remain in possession of any other estates and mines in the domain until a Senatorial Court determines actual ownership. It is acknowledged that any living owners of the assets or estates before 708 claims will be predominant.
A contingent of the Cohorts of Gashang forces in the Themeson domain will swear fealty to King Chafin III and be at his disposal for any military action from 15 Peonu 721. However, the Republic will pay the Cohorts' reasonable operating expense until the last day of 725.
King Chafin III pledges to provide the Cohorts sizable estates as compensation for Themeson Castle's loss in due course.
The Thardic Republic will form a defensive alliance with the Kingdom of Rethem. They pledge to come to the other's defense if attacked by the Kingdom of Kanday or provoked by any forces with the said kingdom.
50 Members of the Cohorts will disband and form a mercenary company. The Republic will grant this company a ten-year contract to act as guards on the walls, gates, and markets of the City of Coranan effective 1 Agrazhar 721.
