Lake Benath

Lake Benath, Hârn's largest lake, is fed by the rivers of the Felsha and Rayesha Mountains and drained by the River Thard. The lake is vital to the City of Shiran's fishing industry and is a source of some raw materials for the town's renowned perfumeries.

Its northern banks are occupied by the primitive Kabloqui Barbarians and various mining operations. The most prominent being at Izora Mines and Fort Sirion. East, the Orcish Kingdom of Korego is a growing threat.

The expanding Thardic Republic's Shiran and Kom provinces occupy the Southern and Southeastern shores. 

The lake is typically relatively calm but can become very rough during southwesterly storms. 

Lake Benath has numerous legends of fearsome monsters, particularly around the Eastern shore near Misyn or the plains of Ilvir. Some of those monsters could well be Ivashu, created by the god Ilvir.
