Band of the Bloody Gauntlet
The Band of the Bloody Gauntlet is a small, average quality, Mercenary Company who has yet to prove their worth in battle. The only military engagement they took part in was the Siege of Winen Castle in the Summer of 721TR during the Tormau Rebellion. They surrendered after the Castle Commander, the Sheriff of Hohnamshire, yielded.

Company Captain
The Captain said to be a bastard son of minor Knight. He is eager to prove himself but is generally considered soft. However, his skill with the Longsword indicates some training.
The Company has 2 sergeants who manage the day to day duties of the Band.
History
719TR - This mercenary band formed after a dispute within the ranks Warriors of the Bloody Mace. Herment Bencson, led a small group of discontent under paid infantry and formed his own Mercenary company, 20 men strong, who gained employment with Sheriff of Hohnamshire based at the Castle Winen.
Spring 721TR - Winen Castle is besieged by the army of the Earl of Tormau. The Castle was very defendable with defenses boosted by a squadron of Companions of Roving Doom.
Summer 721TR - Food supplies were poisoned, and Tormau's army assaulted the weakened garrison. They quickly surrendered with 15 men of the Band surviving. The Band of the Bloody Gauntlet were given the choice of joining the Earl of Tormau's army or being sent to work in the nearby Lead Mine. They are now again serving as the garrison of Winen Castle this time under the Crimson Dancer Knight Dame Athena Pallas.
