Balefire

The holy fire of the God Agrik, used by his priests and holy warriors to smite their foes and or to cleanse the impure.

Manifestation

Balefire usually manifests as intense flames which can be of any shade of red, yellow or orange depending on the summoning rituals used or abilities of the invoker.

It is a highly destructive energy source causing damage to a lifeforms spiritual forces and will also inflict burning damage to flesh without any apparent heat. Balefire is also useful when employed against undead as necromantic forces are especially vulnerable.

Balefire cannot be used to create conventional flames or fires. However, Priests of Agrik have been known to cast devastating spells which combine both types of energy.

Manifested by worshippers, holy sites or relics of Agrik.
