He specializes in capturing strange beasts, especially Ivashu, for use in the Gladiatorial Pamesani Games.
He is said to be able to use magic to growth his size claiming that he has giants among his ancestors.

Artu Shinin took over the Aurano Clanhold after killing Clanchief Tiberion Aurano in single combat. He changed the Clanholds bandit ways to a more lucrative monster hunting enterprise creating the Shinin Clanhold.
