Time for character creation amidst the beginning of the end.

The new posthuman movement continues, calling itself Neo Terranism, the people themselves calling themselves Neo Terran. The original design of the artificial bodies are released to the public with restrictions, and with what could only be described as a character creator. The public is told that you could become what you want in this new solar system--this new galaxy--within limits. Anything beyond the standard could be purchased for increasing amounts of money, but all would have the same baseline, the same standards when it comes to longevity.   Advertised as the best way of survival in this new location, the public ate up this type of Posthumanism for the truth it was. Up until the launch of the expedition, people's psyches and bodies were separated and scanned into what would be known as Dataminds and Shells respectively, built to their specifications and price. As time went on, the movement gained speed as the Earth began to show more and more of its deterioration--storms brewed endlessly, heat waves rose to even higher heights, the edges of shores began to be swallowed by the water.
