Dataminds and Shells

Dataminds: The consciouness of a former human being placed into a Database, to later be installed into the Shell that mind had created before being separated from their mortal body.
Shells: The artificial, nano-technical and android bodies created to mimic human life. They are empty, completely devoid of life and consciousness until a Datamind is put in.

Discovery

Evelyn Byrn was a nano machine and bioelectronics engineer, majoring in computer technology and programming. The original concept was created during her college years, of which a few years later, after inheriting the family business and becoming CEO, she finalized the concept into reality by transferring a willing participant into a Datamind, and that Datamind into a Shell, and back.
