Royal Guarden
Protect the Mother Tree and the King!
Composition
Manpower
The number is tiny as only 12 are appointed to protect their Mother Tree, Weeping Wisteria. As small as they are, these individuals are quite powerful.
Equipment
Reinforced leather or cloth, depending on their position. Sometimes heavy armour as well as each person has their own strength and weaknesses. Since everyone has their weaknesses, the profession they are fitted with will protect those weaknesses.
Weaponry
- Primary is their physical weapons of choice
- Secondary, their spirit magic.
Vehicles
In the Faeding Vales they use airships.
Structure
Each Gaurden is a leader in their respective discrtict, either in the inner Kingdom or outer (floating islands away from the Mother Tree). They are in charge of the Royal Watch.
Tactics
Due to the discretion of appointing the King's Royal Watch, it is not possible to know the exact number of his military. This is kept from the citizens for their own well being, and this eliminates possbile traitors. However, the Gaurdens are widely known. Some citizens go so far as to make them celebrities, under the King, of course. This is also part of tactics because if other kingdoms know the tiny number of his elite, they will think he is easy pickin's and will find out very quickly that is not the case.
This also works against the King because if it became international news that he has an abundance of militia at his call, the kingdoms will look at him as an enemy.
Training
In order to maintain secrecy, training is done through Dream State. This way no one can question the Royal Watch as to what they do in their daily lives.
Logistics
Recruitment
From a young age, everyone in the kingdom obtains a Bijou Wisteria, which is a tiny version of the Mother Tree in a pot. Little do the children know, they are tasked with the possibility of becoming the next Gaurden. Something so menial and yet a huge responsibility to undertake.
