Weapon of the Gods

The relic known under the name of Weapon of the Gods is a relic in the shape of a sword that has been in the possession of Pearlhal and the people of Crienia for ages. The Weapon of the Gods is believed by the Crienia to be the sword of Mara and given to the people as a symbol of them being brothers in arms.
The relic is not like many of the relics and artefacts in Pearlhal located in Imperial Museum, instead the Weapon of the Gods is shown in the Imperial senate on the wall above the leader of the senate, so throughout the history of the city the relic has hung over the heads of kings, senators and emperors.
The relic has been used by leaders of Crienia have used the relic sword as a symbol of power and authority and it argued that due to its importance for the people it has managed to survive all the destruction that has hit Pearlhal throughout its history, like the several sieges of the city during The Decade of 5 Emperors or the Great fire of Pealhal.
While the Weapon of the Gods is also known under the name Sword of Mara, there is some controversy surrounding this alternative name as the sword has been with the Crienia people almost as long as the people have existed, no one is quite sure when it appeared, but almost all scholars are sure that the sword appeared long before the goddess Mara appeared to the people of Pearlhal. The supporters of this alternative name argues that no one is sure when the goddess revealed herself.
