Order of the Crow

The Order of the Crow is a secretive sect in the Empire of Dercia with rumours that the group have a presence in the Principality of Clifia, the order is considered illegal in the Empire, not due to the gods they are believed to serve but because the group engages in religious sacrifices and some groups of the order have been linked to the disappearance of several young people.
Not much is known about the order but from raids on some of the orders meeting places, the Empire have learned that the members seem to don crow-like masks and feathers when they are conducting their ceremonies, some of the religious leaders of the Empire have expressed concern that if the orders worship is anything like that of the Empire, then the members dresses up in the crow-like masks to imitate their deity but what concerns the leaders are that no known deity in the Starlighters Pantheon take the shape of a crow-like figure. This have made the high-priest of the temple of Mara to conclude that they must worship some deity that have its roots in the  Ancient Empire.
One grouping of the order of the Crow had taken root in a town called Aquilonia were there over time developed a courtyard were crows would be drawn, likewise rumors began to spread in the town that the crows were carrying the souls of the restless dead and that those who spent to much time in the courtyard would end up losing their souls to the crows, leaving them as a wandering husk.
