Ancestral Blade

This Blade is created by an enchanted and unique metal that is said to have come from the gods themself.
Many stories have over the years sprung up around this sword as it always have a razor sharp edge that dont dull not even when used in the heat of battle, but even this is is not the most interesting thing about the sword, its said although never observed that the sword changes its appearance to fit into the current style of swords used in combat, this story is based on that the sword seems to appear on several paintings and tapestries that depicts the sword with different lengths and shapes to its blade, and this is further based on that the current shape of the sword is that of a longsword in the style currently favored by the legions of the Empire of Dercia.
The only thing on the sword that dont seem to change is that on the blade, near the hilt, one can see a small depiction of an eagle in the style of the Dercian Empire.
No one is sure when the sword got its name but the most accepted theory is that its simply a name based on how old the sword is believed to be, given that the oldest mentions of the sword can be dated back to the age of migration in the Derican region more than five thousand years IC
The current location of the sword is in the Imperial Museum in Pearlhal were it was brought as a spoil of war some time during the middle of the Second unification war when the city-state that had it fell to the at the time Kingdom of Dercia
