South Wind Trading Company
The South Wind Trading Company deals in a wide variety of goods. It has 43 members and is based primarily out of Arrowport and Castleport in the Truris Kingdom, but also maintains several smaller outposts in Garby Haven.
Structure
The South Wind Trading Company consists of the Board of Trustees, run by Proprietor Zelda Bens, a halfling based out of Arrowport. Other notable members include Managers Zecele Stevey, Dalavesta Prenatt, Cephenrene Blazina, and Medarin Clubs. The board oversees not only overall corporate management, but also plans new expansions, negotiates trade deals, and makes sure the carts run on time.
Public Agenda
The organization is set up to facilitate the import and export of goods and materials from one location to another. They accomplish this by establishing themselves in various port towns, primarily, and then establishing a series of warehouses to assist in the day-to-day storage of trade goods. From there they will often slowly take control of shipping operations so that their superior management and logistics capabilities can bring prosperity to all.
Assets
The guild maintains its headquarters building in Arrowport, but a sizeable chapter exists in Castleport as well. A number of smaller outposts operate out of several smaller oceanside towns, including in Garby Haven where it is said that they have struck a bargain with the pirates operating out of there.
The facilities in Castleport include not just the guild hall, but the nearby warehouses as well. The group has drawn the ire of many of the local merchants for their de facto monopoly on shipping in and out of town, as well as the exorbitant rates that they charge for storage in their warehouses.
