Jencerys was betrayed by a member of her old crew in Elderburgh, resulting in the deaths of her brother and the capture of two of her close friends. For years, she blamed her old friend Bloodbane, who had left the group recently. However, recent information tells her that the other crew member, Geran Korsk, actually betrayed the group. She now seeks vengeance.

She sees the exploitation and mistreatment by the wealthy as an affront to civilization, and seeks to remedy this by stealing their most valuable possessions and using the proceeds to fund her operations.
