Susan is the aunt of Emily. She rescues Emily after her sister, Melody, had been driven in her desperation to replace her deceased daughter to kill Emily's parents and kidnap her. Feeling responsible for the girl's loss, Susan takes it upon herself to move to Blockfield within the Diamond faction to raise Emily.
