Campaign Rules

The Campaign follows Pathfinder 2e default rules and is played "RAW" (Rules as written), the only exception being the "rule of cool" (deployed by the DM). There are a few natural laws and characteristics of Mindosza that are different from Galorion, the default setting of Pathfinder. Therefore a few interactions may be different (and will be expanded upon), such as there being no planes, and no concepts of fiends (mostly replaced by horrors). The Astral Plane mostly replaces all other planes, and the 4 basic Elements  in Pathfinder are expanded to six.

Character Creation

  • All Characters start at Level 1. Characters are created directly within the Foundry Virtual Tabletop, with assistance of https://2e.aonprd.com/ or other official ressources, as well as homebrewed Ancestries.
  • XP is gained, no Milestone progression. DMs will check the characters for proper XP notation, please: NO FUNNY BUSINESS!
  • This World Anvil Page Contains the Rules for the Custom Deities and Ancestries, which are also available to all players (supplementing the Pathfinder Ancestries and replacing the Pathfinder Deities)
  • Most Backgrounds can be used RAW, but the flavor may have to be rewritted to fit the world of Mindosza.

Custom Ancestries

I have incorporate most Ancestries from the Pathfinder Core Rulebook and official supplements. If you want to play a race that is not listed, speak to a GM to possibly make this work. On top of the default races, Mindosza has the following unique races you can play:

  • Trolls - Not to be confused with DnD Monsters, these Trolls are Honorbound and Loyal.
  • Windlings - 2-3 Feet small Faerylike creatures with wings, nimble and adapt in the arcane arts.
  • Thri-Kreen - Insectoid and short-lived, the Thri-Kreen have been taken under the Wing of the Shona to protect them from the planeshift.
  • T'skrang - Not to be confused with Lizardmen, the T'skrang are a Species at home in the water, exouberant and joyful, some would say arrogant. What do they know.
  • Elemental - are seen as different species, depending on their elemental alignment. Obsidimen and Ebonmen for instance.

Custom Classes

None so far, may be added in the future.

Other House Rules

  • You may cast "Raw Magic", giving you access to unprepared spells. This comes as a cost, because instead of calling upon prepared rituals and motions, you tear into the astral plane and rip it from the magic weave. You spent Spell Level * 5 HP to cast a spell in such a way. It may be worth it though...
  • Writing up an (in character) Summary of a past adventure, and possibly laying out further Story Hooks that came from it will be awarded by either XP or Gold (Player Choice). Only one write up per Session, but you can co-write if multiple people want to participate.
