GR-345

GR-345 is the second-largest asteroid in the Deneb Belt. Discovered in 2148 CE, it was considered as the location for the first Deneb Belt mining stations, but ultimately lost out to DT4-298. Mining operations were established after the development of FTL travel, as the expanding Commonwealth Colonial Navy demanding ever further raw materials for its rapid naval expansion. GR-345 is home to a minor habitat of the Deneb Habitat Complex that provides support and mining facilities for its third of the Belt.
