Lora

"Wilderness is our birthplace,
nature is our home,
earth is our foundation,
and she is our mother.

Protect her domain from exploitation and destruction,
for it is equally yours,
older and wiser,
the root of all.

Embrace and respect the savage and violent nature of the world.
Exist in harmony with it,
and repel the unnatural."

Lora (also known as "the Wildmother") is one of the prime deities in the Eldar pantheon. She is recognized as the goddess of nature, earth and wilderness. She is the sister of Lorei and Luna and a mother to Ysmir.

Divine Domains

Nature, Life, Grave.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Lora's primary symbol is that of a green shield with brown branches at its centre. Green represents nature, growth and beauty. The brown branches represent sturdiness, stability, earth and age.

Tenets of Faith

Lora preaches conservancy and preservation of the natural world and that people should live in harmony with it. Her followers generally live out in the wilds or in small communities and dislike the spread of industrial influence where equal exchange is disregarded completely. She asks her followers to respect the will of Mother Nature, for even though Lora embodies and keeps nature, they are not one and the same. Lora also wishes her followers to embrace, respect and understand the violence of nature and exist in harmony with it, and shoo or destroy anything unnatural that would traverse it. No afterlife promise exists, but her followers believe that their souls will become one with nature after their death.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Lora's objective is to keep the natural world and show its beauties to all beings of the world. As a long term goal, she supports Ysmir's cause to abolish the concept of the afterlife.
