Kaniethiio (a.k.a. Winter's Bite)
Kaniethiio is a Theurge of the Wendigo tribe and a member of the Roar of the Lion. While one of the pack's best warriors, Kaniethiio is also gifted in healing. She is a bit more standoffish than the rest of the pack, still not fully comfortable in the world of humans, Kani is a valuable member of the pack and closer to the others than most outsiders would anticipate. Like Ian, she's not overly pleased with the warm weather of Miami, yet Kani has decided that her home is wherever her pack siblings are. Her mannerisms can be a bit odd, sometimes getting her in trouble, but the fierce wolf also possesses a surprisingly gentle heart.

Personal history
Kaniethiio was born near Canada to a pack of kinfolk wolves. A descendent of the Wendigo tribe, the Theurge went through her Rite of Passage at the worst moment of her life. While she succeeded, the small Sept she was a part of came under attack by Pentex hunters. The Sept mounted an admirable defense, but the slaughter was all but total. Thought to be dead, the young Theurge only survived because of a small but fairly renowned pack finding her.
Ian, Thalia, and Eric had been touring various Septs, seeking to keep building a name for themselves by helping out wherever they could. Upon finding Kaniethiio's almost lifeless body surrounded by the corpses of wolves, Garou, and homid kinfolk alike, the three worked to help her heal and recover. While initially distrustful and somewhat hostile towards the trio, Kani slowly warmed to them as her wounds recovered. When Ian offered to help her avenge her fallen, the Wendigo readily accepted. The four wolves mounted a retaliatory surprise attack on the hunters base of operations, wiping them out totally. With no family left, Kani agreed to join the pack.
She followed them back to Miami, not fully happy about the heat, but the Theurge puts up with it to stick by her new family. With Ian's lead, the pack gained renown at an exceptional rate.

Due to her Eidetic memory, Kani often has nightmares of her Sept's destruction.
