Velden
Velden is the second largest city in the Kingdom of Gwandrin and is located just outside the Grand Dunes.
Demographics
Velden is perhaps the most diverse town in all of Melra. Velden's leaders push the vision of a free and open town, where all are welcome. This vision is embodied partly in the festivals thrown by the townsfolk, and also in its residents birthday celebrations. Humans, elves, dwarves and more exotic races all live here, as well as rich and poor, young and old.
Government
While Velden is governed by the King of Gwandrin, it is also the most remote village in the kingdom and not subject to nearly as much scrutiny by the Sanctioners.
Industry & Trade
Veldens often find exotic fruits, vegetables, seeds, building materials blown in through the Exiles' Bridge, and so the village has become known for a place to go if you need odds and ends or have a taste for more exotic supplies.
Geography
Velden is located just outside of the Grand Dunes, south-west of the Merchant's Span. The approach to the city is dry plains that fades into sand as you get closer.
