Miltan
Demographically, Miltan is mostly human. As it’s the home of the Order of the Rose and home to the Dawn Empress, outsiders are a common sight.
People don’t like living near the Forbidden Lands. Most of the populace lives in the north and eastern parts where they feel safer.
Geography
The Tehvir Mountains form part of its border with Silvestri and Ayellis. A large lake sits on its border with Ayellis. It’s surrounded by three of its allied countries: Silvestri, Ayellis, and Athros. To the west are what’s known as the Forbidden Lands.
It rarely gets cold close to the Forbidden Lands. Some say it’s due to the foul magics that warped that place long ago. Others say that Tehaksha’s Palace is located nearby underground and the heat from it prevents the weather from ever truly getting cold.
Ecosystem
People eat a lot of grains and vegetables. Fish is a common food for people living along rivers and on the coast. Meat consists of chicken and pork. Beef is a luxury item. Communal meals are the norm in human society.
