Griffin
Jyelyar - The Jyelyar are a partially empathic herbivorous species native to Arden. They are more intelligent than horses, but not as intelligent as people. The empathy serves to warn them of approaching predators. Their only real predators are griffin and wolves.
Firefox – a desert animal believed to have special powers and luck-giving abilities. They live in the deserts around Talon Peak
Kittihawk – a kind of bird of prey common across Melphor
Seadrake – a sea dwelling animal that makes it homes in the oceans around Ayellis. Its hide is extremely tough and, when cured, can be used as armor.
Edel – a plant found only in the forests whose leaves can be used as a medicine for aches.
Jelpar – a kind of leafy tree with edible berries
Miosha – a kind of seaweed found off the coast of Ardren that can be made into silk
River melon – fruit from Ayellis
Tanel root – a root known for its medicinal properties; it has a particularly bad smell, but is the only known remedy for migraines
