Ara is the goddess of life within the Ziela pantheon. Ara was said to have manifested from the joy which Ija and Itu felt towards the prospect of the universe being filled. Acording to tradition Ara was murdered by her brothers Taho and Laque. This sin gave birth to Aimu who joined the two in their rebellion against the rest of the pantheon. Though the rebellion was thwarted, Ara was irreperably destroyed. The gods elected to use Ara's ever weakening life force as the basis for all mortal life. Despite being dead, Ara is honored as the goddess of life and is deeply revered among the faithful.
