Thór, God of Thunder

Crown-prince of Asgard

Thor, eldest son of Óðinn, God of Knowledge and heir to the throne of Ásgarðr. His mighty hammer, Mjölnir, frightens his enemies and ispires his devotees with the thunder it brings. The vehemence and lightning in Thor's eyes make all tremble. His almighty presence gives strength and will to those who follow him and deminishes the heart of every fell creature. He is the mightiest warrior in nearly every aspect. Those who rise against the The Æsir must first contend with Thor, a task most would call impossible. According to legend, in the times of Ragnarök, he will face the Jörmungandr, the World's Serpent, and one will slay the other.   Thor has a somewhat less complicated view of the world than his father, Óðinn. Power quests and politics have less appeal than the more satisfying activities of eating, drinking, and fighting. Thor is not afraid to die at Ragnarök, for he knows his end will be glorious. He loves his wife, Sif, Goddess of Wheat, deeply and will murderously defend her honor at any given opportunity. Sometimes, when bored, he actively seeks out such opportunities. Together they had 2 children, Móði, the Angry and Thrud, the Powerful. Thór had a son before he met Sif with the Jötunn Jarnsaxa , Magni, the Strong, and Sif likewise had a son before she met Thor with the Jötunn Solbjartr, Ullr, God of the Hunt, in whom Thór takes great pride.   Those who follow Thor are warriors who desire to be respected or feared. They believe Thor protects Mannaheim from monsters and they should follow his example.

Honesty. Only cowards lie. Be bold and forthright with your words and deeds.   Courage. Never back down in the face of danger for the sake of yourself. Know that the god of thunder is with you and together you will smite your foes.   Challenge. It is dishonorable to seek a fight with those lesser than you. Only make foes of those who think they can best the champion of thunder.   Respect. Those who honor their oaths, friends, family, and traditions deserve respect.
